Featuring a lower profile design and side-screw tightening mechanism, the PRELUDE is able to achieve similar performance to the ORIGINAL, bringing out the best in your reed, mouthpiece, instrument, and overall sound. Silverstein Ligatures have always been about exceptional quality and performance, and the PRELUDE continues this tradition by offering a new color, dynamic range, and potential to those looking for a breakthrough difference in their playing.
The Prelude ligature allows every musician, from student to professional, the chance to experience and enjoy what it truly means to "free the reed", and the affordability that the PRELUDE provides makes this possible.
Features:
LOWER PROFILE DESIGN

RESONATING PLATE
Bottom surface of main body was designed to optimize the resonance from the mouthpiece.
CORD END LOCK
Both ends of the cord are locked with screws for maximum security.
TORQUE CONVERSION
Main screw has a unique mechanism to convert turning torque to pushing force.
*Prelude does not include a cap.
