Wireless freedom. Cable simplicity.

Playing guitar should be simple. Just plug-in and go. That's why Line 6 made Relay G10 incredibly easy to use - it works just like a guitar cable. You get incredible sound quality, rock-solid performance, and the freedom of digital wireless - all from the world's easiest, most compact instrument wireless system.

In the past, wireless guitar systems have often been complicated to use - not anymore. Relay G10 features an extremely simple and intuitive design that makes it easy to rock. Just plug in the 1/4 transmitter, and the receiver will automatically select the best channel. G10 also makes switching instruments a breeze - the transmitter works with all guitar types. Plus, thanks to separate XLR and 1/4 outs, you get flexibility in your choice of outputs. No complicated menus. No tedious setup. No hassle

Other wireless systems require expensive external batteries or a bulky charging station. Not Relay. A long-lasting rechargeable transmitter gives you up to 8 hours of playing time per charge. When you're not playing, G10 enters sleep mode to extend battery life to as much as 200 hours. And when it's time to recharge, just dock the transmitter on the receiver and you're good to go. It doesn't get any easier than that.

Relay G10 is loaded with smart features to help you get the most out of your performance. Cable Tone technology matches the character and feel of a regular guitar cable. The system automatically activates when your transmitter is fully connected - eliminating annoying pops when you plug in your guitar. Finally, the receiver lights up, making it easy-to-see sync and battery status.

FEATURES
• Automatic setup - just plug in and play
• Renowned Relay 24-bit digital sound quality
• Recharge the transmitter by docking it on the receiver
• Up to 8 hours playing time and 200 hours sleep time per charge
• Ultra-intuitive and easy-to-use design
• 50-foot indoor signal range

I have mine on my desk and it never ever moves. I've had to re-solder internal USB connector twice because it's out of warranty. I had it on my pedal board, lesson learned. It really doesn't like to be moved around at all. This product sounds great (very transparent) and functions very well.. but why on earth would they decide to go with USB is beyond my comprehension.

I have been using one of these for a couple of years now with absolutely no issues. There is no lag during performances and connection has always been perfect. The silent switch is completely noiseless when changing guitars. It's nice not to have a cable following me around on stage.

I really enjoyed using this for home practice for more than a year. It is wonderful to be free of the cable, and it worked very well at home. I agree with other reviewers that the USB charger connection on the base unit is probably fragile, though that was not my problem. My main complaint is that the transmitter sits upright, very high in the base unit. I took this on stage after owning for a year, and within a few minutes I bumped into the transmitter and broke it. I'll admit I installed it on a large pedal board, which in retrospect is probably not what this is designed for. Rather than buy a replacement transmitter I have upgraded to the G10S model. That one has a much lower profile, the transmitter is in a much more secure, horizontal position, and the power input is a standard 9VDC connector typical of stompboxes. I hope that my new G10S will will be more rugged, and more suitable for use on stage. Don't buy the G10 (this model) if you want to use it on a pedal board - get the G10S instead.

I used it for a PEP rally once. Much easier to engage with the crowd. The crowd loves how they could come and see the party bass up close. It sounds awesome, responds perfectly, and has really easy steps to follow. The set up might require some sound checks, well I mean, basically why we do these tech checks. All in all, really awesome product

I did a lot of research before deciding to try the G10 wireless. My biggest concern was that it would affect the tone of my guitar - I'm a guy that hears differences in guitar cables. The ultimate test for me was to use my best cable and compare the sound of the guitar directly and through the G10 using the same cable with clean settings on the amp. I can tell you with certainty THERE WAS NO DIFFERENCE. The cable you use to connect the G10 to the amp will have more of an effect on your guitar tone than the G10 will. I am totally impressed!

I had a problem with the USB connection and had to send out for repair (covered under warranty) On the advice from a friend who had experienced similar problem I purchased a "break-away" magnetic type of USB connection adapter cable from "the Source" here in Saint John and haven't had any issues since. Cost approximately $20.00 - which was money well spent.!!

I loved it when it was working however, it has a design issue. The usb port on the base unit is very fragile. Mine broke after a couple of years and couldn't be repaired.

Great unit except for the USB connection . Mine broke off inside the unit , so I sauldered the wire direct to each side of the transformer . Mine was mounted on a pedal board and only taken out of the house five times and never handled roughly .

I can use all around my home and doesn't drop signal. No cable to leave hanging or get tangled up. The unit is sturdy plastic design. Great for the price, it's a no brainer.

Love this thing. I only use it in my basement music room but love it. It recharges quickly and is really nice on a strat style guitar because of its design. I can't notice a difference in sound quality compared to a cord. I don't get any interference from anything either.

Purchased this unit, Very impressed. It sounds as good as a guitar cable. I actually preferred the G10 over the G30 for my electric guitar signal. Very simple to set up in fact there is no set up, its plug and play. My only concern is the usb power plug which you have to be careful with so you don't bust it. Manufacture's seems to be using usb more, I am careful with my gear and unplug it when I move my pedal board as I have it on my board. But I must say I am amazed with the sound ,hopefully it will last.

I play bass and purchased this unit...initially because of its size and construction. I've used the G30 and found it to be flimsy and poorly built. While the specs say that this one has a range of 50 feet ...it works beyond that...and realistically as a weekend band...I will "never" be more than 50 feet from my amp. No more cords to walk on...no loss of signal or tone... and freedom to move around the stage. Battery life is good and will last through a 4+ hour gig without any problem. I gave this a lower rating on quality because of the USB power supply. If you are careful with your gear it won't be a problem,,...,but the USB power port in the receiver is not very solid. Not sure I understand....at all...why Line 6 decided on a USB charger port vs a regular 9V connection. Buy the extended warranty...!!!

I play in a road band & this product has let me down on 2 occasions. The female port on the recharger came loose & went into the base resulting in me having to return it for replacement. In one venue the signal cut in and out. My guitarist had a similar problem with the usb port coming loose. He is now using a replacement unit. This unit is not study enough for professional use on the road. They should revise it with a more study power connection.

Picked this up yesterday and tested out on Taylor acoustics and T5z electric, no issues. Also used with K&K Pure Mini on a Voyage Air guitar, no issues. Very handy unit. Nice to be wireless.

I play bass and have a Ernie Ball Musicman Bongo as well as a Cort C4H and it works flawlessly with both. The Bongo have very hot active pickups (2 9 volt batteries), and the Cort is Active or Passive. It is an excellent, inexpensive wireless unit. My only complaint is where the mini usb plugs into the base for power..., since it has to be plugged in all the time (charging and using), why is this a mini usb. Why isn't it just a hard wired plug? The mini usb is not too sturdy, and I had to send my unit back for warrantee as the plug became lose.

It is small, compact and works effortlessly. I have 3 guitars and it works on all of them without a hitch. One note, the USB port on the back is not set firmly in the casing and has some play, not a huge deal unless you are rough on your gear.

You need an male /female adapter as some guitar are wired differently! got the adapter from amazon and found a guid online hat explains the reasons. I gave the info to Peterborough in June 2016 to dessiminate. I have a classic Almansa and it did not work at first but with the adapter it works fine.

Got this unit a couple of days ago. Very well made and it appealed to me that it has a rechargeable battery. However this system does not work on a LR Baggs system that my Gibson acoustic and Seagull guitar have. It's also a stereo jack so when using my Taylor I need to use an adaptor to convert it to a mono signal in order to get the Taylor to work. It works great on a passive electric guitar but again does not work with active pickups. I've now tried two of these units now and several guitars and get the same problem with both. This definitely needs to be revamped
