I like the look of natural wood, and this Sapele is particularly attractive. My GS Mini sits proudly at the ready for me to grab whenever the inspiration strikes. This stand sits firmly on the floor, the instrument sits up straight, and no rocking occurs. Exactly what I hoped for

I have just purchased two of these Taylor wood stands and on first inspection before assembly they looked good. I was hoping for a more furniture look stand for our living room and thought these Taylor stands would be perfect. They are constructed of a nice wood which is finished well. Easy to assemble with the four screws and two additional screws came enclosed. The disappointment occurred when the stands were assembled as the stands are not symmetrical and are tippy, off by 1/2 inch from side to side. This causes the guitar to sit crooked in the stand. I have improvised by adding a rubber tip to the front leg of each stand that is too short and added additional velvet pads to front and back of guitar interior of the guitar rest area to prevent the guitar from rubbing on the wood. The back of the guitar sits out 1/2 inch from the factory installed rubber rest pad on one side on both stands and there seems no way to correct this.
For the money these stands should have been next to perfect. They are not. Save your money and consider another stand.
