I bought this unit because it reminded me of my JC 77 that I used back in the 80”s. It sounded and worked well for a few years, and now has no sound. I have no idea to remedy this besides the recycle/garbage bin. Roland does make great products, but this one did not last.

This speaker can pack a punch if you EQ it correctly. This is perfect for a desk or a patio table, certainly not intended to be the main source of sound for a party. Go light on the bass (keep it dialed under 50%) and then use treble and middle to your ears desire. You can crank the volume up with no distortion if you don't over power the bass. Sounds great! Definitely worth $99 and is a collectors item for Jazz Chorus fans!

This is a killer speaker...any song can be EQ'd to your liking from the very reactive and quality bass, mid, treble knobs on the front. It has a decent battery and the passive resonator on the back panel makes this TINY speaker rock. If you tip it on it's back you can feel it in the floor and your chair. That said, it's only worth it at $99, not $229.

Cool to look at, bad to listen to!
I didn't expect this poor a quality from Roland.
Save your money, there are far better speakes out there for the price!
