Humiditrak is a brand new climate monitoring system designed to decrease environment-related damage to musical instruments with real time temperature and humidity updates via Bluetooth.
By placing the small Humiditrak device in any case or musical instrument, real-time condition updates can be viewed from the system's free smart phone application. When Humiditrak detects that an instrument is in dangerous conditions, a push notification is sent to the player's phone, allowing them to take action before damage occurs.

I have one of these in my Martin case, and one in my Taylor case, and I’ve been running the two for about a year now. Battery life runs about 4-5 months. So far they’re about as accurate as you can expect for a digital hygrometer.
After a quick set up they allow me to check the humidity by simply opening the app. I don’t have to crack the case open until I have to adjust the humidity. And other than playing of course, not open the case unless I have to in these dry Calgary winters.
Now that I’ve used it, I can’t imagine going without it.
