It's the equivalent of an AAXplosion crash for $60 less. Differences: XSR is tonally brighter, sustain after initial crash is slightly longer and has a faint ring as it washes out; AAXplosion is tonally darker, sustain is less, and no ring. Visually, looks very similar to AAXplosion crashes, although it has a polished bell unlike the AAXplosion. Overall, for $60 less, it's a pretty good deal and the compromises aren't audible in a kit/recording setting.
