I wrote a review earlier on this strings with inconclusive results.
Since then I've gone back and forth with NY and XL's in 10s and 11s.
Now I just want NYXL 11s on all my guitars all the time. These are the best strings you can get, IMO. They last 2 or 3 times longer than normal XLs in regards to time decay such as rust. They are great to put on guitars you don't play often, but don't want to deal with rust when you do.

I've been experimenting with the NYXL strings.
I can't make up my mind if they are worth the higher cost of the standard XL strings that I've used for years and years. I play .10s and .11s
These things I'm sure of :
They have more tension. They are less bendy then XL. NYXL 10s feel like XL 11s or there about.
They don't rust or corrode nearly as fast as XL, but even if they were made of diamonds they would still collect dirt, grime and fret wear so I'm not sure if this is really a big deal.
I can't say if they stay in tune better. My Les Paul needs a tuning every time I pick it up regardless.
I can't say if they sound "better". My Vox sounds a little different every day depending on the orbit of the moon and direction of wind.
If they were the same price as normal XL then I would use them just because of the way they corrode less. If you like to leave strings on forever then there is good value in that. I like newish strings and change them regular anyway.
I'll stick to them for a while then switch back to XL strings and see if I notice anything missing and then make up my mind.
