These strings remove almost a octave of low end off your guitar. I put these on a Larrivee D-03R as a experiment, and it instantly turned that guitar into something that sounds cheap and sterile. Having said that, these strings may have their place on a large jumbo Gibson acoustic with a bit too much low end that needs taming. But that is only a speculation.
