I just got this keyboard stand today after returning a single brace stand (different brand) and I am much happier with this one. I have a Yamaha P-60 (88 keys, heavy keyboard) so I need a stand that can hold the weight of my keyboard but with the single brace stand, while I never felt like it was gonna fall off the stand, it still wobbled when we really played the keys with any amount of pressure. I thought I would get used to it but even after using the single brace stand for a few hours weeks, I knew I needed to return it.
With this double brace Hercules stand, immediately we could tell it was much steadier and the keyboard now doesn’t wobble.
So far, very happy!

I looked a long time for a keyboard stand for my new Yamaha p125. It's for my child to play so I was looking for a stand that could adjust to a low height. There other stands with tooth locks that also adjust low, but they are flimsy, wobbly, built cheaply and are prone to collapse - not good if it's holding up your expensive new keyboard.
This one is bullet proof. Adjusts low or high - your preference. Extremely solid and built to last. There is no vibration and has a balancing feature. It fits my Yamaha p125 perfectly. It looks pretty good as well.
Don't try to save $30 - just buy this one, you won't regret it.

I was looking for a double braced 'X' stand to hold my Yamaha P-255, which is a heavier 88 key portable keyboard, and this stand so far has done the trick! Quick order to store with Long & McQuade and no assembly required, it just pops up and down. I am impressed with the EZ locking system. It makes it very easy to set up and collapse when you want to, but seems very sturdy once locked into position. It feels very sturdy when I'm playing--I did a test immediately once my piano was placed on the stand and I tested the limits. I played all of my scales without any shaking or swaying, which was my goal with investing in a slightly more expensive stand. Overall I would recommend this stand for its sturdyness and ease of set up!
