It's a bottom-of-the-line ukulele, as you might have guessed by the price. But it's still a pretty decent instrument. Good parts, quality construction. It doesn't hold tuning very well though, probably will require more frequent tuning than a sturdier ukulele might. But for costing almost nothing, it's top of the line.

It's everything you could expect a 40 dollar instrument to be. No complaints.

About two weeks ago I went in looking to buy a ukulele. I choose this one, I really liked the color. Anyways after a few weeks of purchasing it a friend and I compared our ukuleles and mine was much lower quality. It was missing a fret, the tuning pegs seemed cheaper, the label within the instrument did not have a serial number nor did it state the name of the model, the brand name on the headstock was poorly printed, the paint was chipping as well and I disliked how the strings were tied on. I concluded this was not the product I thought I had bought I went in looking to exchange it. After speaking with the employee and stating my complaints, he outwardly laughed at me and insisted that this was the better model. I disagreed, and asked for the exchange regardless. Once I had got the new product (Denver Duke-BLK), I immediately noticed the difference and was much more content with the purchase.
I do not recommend this ukulele.

Had this ukulele for over a year now (almost two years)
Not much of a fan of the glossy finish, but it works just fine, but often gets out of tune even after tuning it so many times. The price is good, and this seems to be a pretty good starting ukulele, but I will be certainly upgrading once I can afford a new one.

I purchased this cheaper ukulele for my son but it wound up being NICER than the more expensive one! Great sound, nice feel and the color is great too! We are returning the other brand and getting another one of these Denver Sopranos!

It's a good price for a good instrument, though if sparkles aren't your thing, there's a solid red version, it's a good starter ukulele. It holds a tune and doesn't sound bad, Overall not a bad instrument!

Love the price it was for a great first ukulele. Sounds great and easy to use. The tuner I bought with it works perfectly and I had it tuned in seconds. Only had it for less then 24 hrs and I can already play it smoothly. Highly recommend if you want to get into learning a string instrument.

I've had this ukulele for a few months. I like the nygut strings that came on it. Required some tuning, and comes with a bag for easy transport to class or the beach
