This case is well designed like I've come to expect from Line 6. The Helix Floor fits inside with almost zero clearance around it. There is approx a 2 inch layer of foam walls protecting it.
Pros:
- Lots of extra cargo space for cables and other gear.
- Storable backpack straps. Though I plan to use the suitcase style handle.
- Zippers are plastic but appear to be of good quality
- Appearance is sleek and professional looking
Cons:
- As with most Line 6 accessories, it is quite expensive for what you're actually getting and there are many more affordable options out there.
- I'm sure this one will just take some getting used to but the zipper for the main case (Helix compartment) opens from the one side and stops on the opposite side (like a backpack). This means you have to kind of grip the Helix in the centre and maneuver it inside the case.
Overall I am happy with my purchase as it maintains a low weight while offering some protection.
