These might not have all the cosmetic bells and whistle of the Fat 60s, but we're only talking the kind of wire, bobbin, etc. I put those in a guitar build and the sound on these Tex-Mex is as good and versatile as on the Fat 60's in my American Standard Strat. It's not worh paying more! I recommend them wholehardtedly.

I was looking at changing up the tone of my MIM strat and didn't want to shell out too much and these fit the bill. The install was super easy as I have a solderless obsidian wiring rig and I was up and running quite quickly. It is a major upgrade over the stock MIM pups and I immediately knew I made a good call. Might not be the be sound YOU are hunting for but it made a world of difference in the MIM strat for me. Pretty happy with them.

The price was awesome for this package. Had them installed by the technician at L&M. When I got it back and tried it out, WOW. Love it. Great set of pick ups that does not cost a arm and a leg.
