Clean sound, no hiss, I checked closely with my Shure headphones... Would probably work well for some, but for the kind of surgical tuning I was hoping to do in my basement recording studio the bandwidth (Q) of this equalizer's controls are all too wide to be useful. If you were wanting to kill some feedback for a mic and PA system using the FBQ system you would wind up killing surrounding audio as well due to the wide bandwidth.
For general listening to music, it works OK, but you could do just as good a job using a 15 band unit... get the picture?
Not useful for me, I will be returning this unit and will try either an ART unit or a DBX unit. It was worth a shot, but not for me.

This unit has not proven to be a problem with the faders for us after 4 years of use. It is very handy for feedback detection when ringing out monitors with the LED faders. Good product for the money!

The sliders are not as smooth and feel cheap when compared to many better quality units. However, it works fine and the price is right. If you taking it on the road I don’t think these sliders would take much abuse. But, if you’re on a budget, it’s a good EQ and I would certainly purchase another one of these.

sliders and knobs feel a little cheapish but the EQ sounds amazing and at a good price too. I am really glad that I got this EQ.
