Having owned the Tama Iron Cobra, Speed Cobra, and DW 5000, I wanted to experience a direct drive pedal. This pedal was praised on many websites so I thought why not give it a try. It is, without a question, worth every single dollar spent. The response time is instant, it's super sensitive which makes the doubles and triples feel super smooth. It 100% improved my skills. Yes there is a bit of a learning curb going from chain to direct drive, but now I don't think I'd ever go back. I'm sure the double pedal version is just as great. If something happened to mine I'd buy another in a heartbeat.

If you want a super smooth, super easy to set up and most importantly super responsive and fast pedal then this IS it. Nice wide footboard, super clean mechanics with a multi-tool for very specific adjustments to whatever you want. I am only writing this after owning and playing this pedal for over 8 years. I have never had a single issue and haven't even had to replace the bearing. I play in multiple bands as well as doing session work so it gets played. Highly recommend this pedal.

This thing is practically glued to your foot. What you do, it does. Havent played a better pedal yet. If youre not used to direct drive however, then it might take some getting used to.
