Behringer Hell Bebe Ultimate Wah-Wah Pedal with Optical Control
This multi-functional Wah-Wah pedal offers everything you need for virtually all styles and sounds. Different from most pedals, the Hellbabe uses complete optical control for wear-and-tear-free pedal operation (no mechanical pots and switches) plus it features a unique spring-back pedal mechanism with resistance adjustment for the ultimate freedom in playing styles.
The heel-down frequency range is freely adjustable using Range control (440 Hz to 250 Hz), so you can use it even with bass guitars. An additional Fine Tune control allows high-end extension of sweep range for achieving incredibly bright, ultra-present tone. The musical Q control is provided for precise filter shaping and achieving vocal-like effects. The tunable boost function includes an On/Off switch that lets you push your licks up to the limit. Weve included dual LED indicators for Effect On/Off and Boost On/Off at the tail of the pedal. Only ultra-low noise circuitry is used throughout for outstanding audio performance. Run your HB01 on a 9 V battery or a DC power supply (not included).
This BEHRINGER product has been designed to compete head to head with leading products on the market.

I got this wah from a returned items auctions and even though it’s other reviews aren’t so hot, I think it’s this wah is great. The cons are that:
1. if you turn the range dial to low, the wah will only sound good fully cocked (it will sound fuzzy in between cocked and uncocked),
2. It’s on constantly, but when start to cock it, you will here a distinctive click as the wah activates or as you back your foot off (rather irritating).
And 3. You can’t remove your foot while the wah is cocked because this has a spring in it (it’ll shoot back up if you do), so you have to have your foot on it if you want to leave it cocked.
Despite its imperfections, this does what a wah should do. If you want do the solo from Enter Sandman? this wah will do it. You want to play Dazed and Confused by Led Zep? Even the octave parts? Turn the boost dial to 3, turn the range dial to high, engage the boost and your ready to scream.

Tried it, not very impressed. It does wah, yes. Save up and buy the basic Crybaby or Vox. You will get a better sounding and stronger metal housing wah pedal.

I was looking for a cheap wha that I could toss on my friends dirty garage floor and have people spill drinks on. I like the sound and the auto on,off makes it so easy to use. It is made of plastic but can take a beating (I took the big chrome knob off before it could get kicked off). I did notice it is a little glitchy if you try to do a slow sweep, and not the sweetest sound. So it's not for studio recordings or intimate settings, but if you are rockin' out it will put a smile on your face. CAE Dunlop wha is the best I have heard in my thirty years playing.

It's the cheapest Wah in price but also in quality. Plastic housing. The "Wah" effect is very minimal no matter what wetting you use. The "Wah" range is very limited as well. If you are in the market for a cheap Wah this one is a waste of money. Take the moey you would spen on this and just buy a better quality used one... or spend $30 more and get an entry level Crybaby (at least that one is robust, classic tone, indestructable).
Again... The Hell Bebe it's a waste of money

tried it, plastic knob fell off.
wah range is weak.
optical mechanism feels cheap.
it is cheap, but too cheap
go with a standard vox, or dunlop wha or you'll be disappointed
