Pros: I find these strings sound amazing when new. They seem to not stretch out much at all, so not much retuning required. Perhaps they are in some way pre streched from the factory?! They also have a nice feel.
Cons: Although they sound great when new, I find they go dull pretty quickly. I think daddario last longer in general. I already purchased a few packs of these strings, so I think I will try to clean the strings individually with alcohol after every use to see if that prolongs the life. I also want to try ernie ball everlast coated strings. If the everlast strings sound just as good and last a super long time, I might go with them.

I found the steel strings too hard on my tender fingertips after not playing for almost 40 years (!!) and had these put on, and the sound is incredible! The feel is soft but the power is still there and I cannot wait to get more acquainted with the sound! Excellent purchase and I highly recommended!

On a lark I tried these and I'm pleasantly surprised. I own a J-45 std. and I've tried many different brands and alloys and , although they've only been on few weeks they sound as good as other much more popular strings that are touted in reviews.
And the price makes them even more desirable. I'd buy another set for sure.

I recently bought a few packs of these at my local L&M store to re-strings some of my guitars, and I must say that they sound good, but they have a clear / crisp sound that might sound too brittle for some people. The light strings (10-50) can handle a Eb (half-step down) like a breeze. But I had a defective high E string on one of the packs I bought, and never had that problem with D'addario strings.

I love these strings on my Larry's. Been using them for a few years now. I play mostly fingerstyle (à la Buckingham / Knopfler)

Warm, jack of all trades strings. I prefer them over The bronze DAddario, they feel better to me.
