I had an old Ispot supply maybe 15 years old. My favorite overdrive pedal was humming and I was going to buy a new pedal but saw that sometimes it is the power supply. I bought this yesterday in Saint John. Perfect for my uses, no hum buzz or whine. Great supply as far as I know. Dont have to fork for another pedal

Upgraded from the regular one spot. I had a few digital pedals on my board combined with drive pedals and it became way too noisy. I would have to click the drive pedal off between songs. Installed the CS7 and now there is 0 noise. I looked at other power supplies but they have less features and power for more money so this is great value and scalable to your pedalboard.

This power supply works great for small to medium sized boards. Outputs are well thought out - 2 high power (500 ma) options for Strymon type pedals, one 18v option for running an OCD etc (this does make a difference if you haven't tried it), and 4 outputs for regular 9V pedals. Very clean and quiet power, no hum from the brick itself. Isolated outpost are a must if you want to reduce the noise level of your board. Mounts perfectly under the older pedal train boards (I have a PT-2). I bought some extra power cables, found I needed extra length to reach a few pedals. You can also power multiple pedals from one output if needed - I have a chorus & compressor running off one output, no problems whatsoever. Highly recommended.

Before I got this, I was using a daisy chain. I had some hiss coming through the amp even when I used a battery. It wasn't bad but noticeable in a quiet room. After installing this power supply the noise was cut by half. I attribute the noise to the daisy chain I was using. This power supply comes with heavier leads. Great little unit that mounts up underneath the pedal board with the supplied mounting hardware.

I have the 1 spot Pro CS7, great build quality, missing a higher 12v supply like 500ma, all so cables supplied are very short and all center negative had to buy additional cables

I've had this power supply for over a year now. No issues whatsoever and it powers all my pedals flawlessly. You can easily run out of ports quickly though and the 18V port, while a nice feature, is probably not useful for the vast majority of people who have the standard array of effects pedals.

I've acquired a number of pedals over time and previously had a rats nest of power supplies running all over the place. Picked up this unit to clean up the mess and keep pedals isolated to avoid issues that can pop-up when daisy chaining pedals. This power unit has worked flawlessly for months now, no hiss/hum, no complaints from my end. My only regret was not buying the CS12!
