Based on the original PT-JR, the Classic JR features Pedaltrain's original four-rail design and traditional rail spacing. However, the Classic JR has been updated with an open front design (portholes are history) making power supply mounting more flexible and convenient. Other changes include a wider stance at 18" and the elevation has been raised by approximately 1".
Included with purchase is 72" of Pedaltrain's professional grade hook-and-loop pedal fastener and plenty of zip ties for securing cables.
Classic JR is available for purchase with either Pedaltrain's redesigned fitted soft case (featuring a heavy-duty metal zipper and reinforced stress points) or Pedaltrain's new professional-grade tour case.

Solid and functional board and bag. Heavy duty velcro and tie straps. Enough velcro to cover the entire surface of the board, so pedals can be placed right up to the outside edges of the board. Velcro stays on the board, despite my frequent pedal placement changes (pro tip: clean and dry the board before applying the velcro). The open front on the board is a blessing, and the rubber feet are heavy duty.
The PedalTrain website describes the Classic Jr as suitable for 4-6 pedals. I have 9 pedals on mine, and I could fit one more if I snugged-up all the pedals. The Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2+ fits nicely underneath.
Loses half star for features, because the bag is single compartment, and half a star for value, because $160 for some welded and painted tube metal, velcro, and a nylon zippered bag.

This is a great pedalboard for the money. I'm just getting into building a real pedalboard and I am pretty confident with the build of this one.
