Radial Thumbscrew Set for 500 Series Racks & Modules
The ThumbSet screws feature a perfectly sized thumbscrew head for easy mounting without the need of a screwdriver. However, if ever the ThumbSet is over-tightened, a clever slotted head allows a screwdriver to be used to loosen.

Like the previous reviewer, I'd like to commend radial on a fine product. After screwing all 10 of my modules in my VPR500 rack I had very little thumb rash and even without a manual, it was a very intuitive product to use. While there's nothing on the package that mentions a VPR alliance stamp of approval, I feel confident using these with my API, NEVE and other VPR approved modules. I hear no interference whatsoever (but did have my power supply distanced far from my rack). In use with my stereo modules I found that my imaging remained consistent but would really love a stereo option in a future firmware update.

overall, very good build-quality. Handsome design with loads of features; bidirectional threads (I found that turning clockwise worked best for mounting gear, and counterclockwise for removing pieces). Very grippy, but not too aggressive. The slotted tool-engagement feature allowed me to precisely torque each fastener, thereby accurately tuning the sound of my 500-series rack.
Overall, the steel alloy screws imparted a rather more bright, focused sound compared to my vintage, brass thumbscrew collection. A nice addition to the total sonic palette of my studio!
My only criticism is that I would have preferred 20 matched screws per package, or at least 20 sequential serial numbered components.
