My kick sounded really tinny even with a pillow in it. So I got this drum head and it sounded amazing with the dampening ring. Truly a great drum head

This head was everything and more that I was looking for. I bought this head because I put a hole through my last bass drum head. This piece of art is really loud, deep, muffled, and sounds like it is miked! I play metal and this head is perfect for me! This head is also great for double bass drumming! If you play hard rock, metal etc this is the head for you.
