Whether you are listening to some tracks, or tracking your next recording, the KNS6400 gives you the famous KRK sound independent of your monitors. KRK Headphones provide a precise listening experience that takes you from personal studio to commercial studio to on-the-go track evaluations -- and they allow you to evaluate and enjoy your music with the consistent voicing philosophy and honest reproduction top producers and engineers have come to trust. The KNS6400 headphones have a closed-back around-the-ear design that brings you closer to your music, and the highly isolated surround pads give you the freedom to immerse yourself in the sound without having your mix escape into open microphones -- and keeps live instruments out of what you are monitoring. Having One Voice that consistently gives you accurate reproduction of your music or mix will help you achieve just what the artist intended -- especially if the artist is you.

KRK headphones provide incredibly natural frequency response that gives you a reference standard unaffected by your location. Day or night. Studio or home. Without disturbing others. Without compromising your tracks. Passionate about music and interested in experiencing the artist's vision as it was intended to be heard? Then experience KRK.

Had some for a few years, very little use as I have them for specific use case only. Thought I was going mad or my hardware had a stereo issue but no, the right ear has drastically reduced highs so I’m guessing they’re on the way out. Very sad they can’t just make things with a wire, has to me some convoluted attempt at clean aesthetic. Seems lots of one wire headphones have this issue, really annoying.

I bought these headphones to do some studio recording. I have a good pair of wireless headphones, but there is always a bit of latency when recording so I wanted some that are wired. The guy at L&M recommended these, but I wanted to do some research first. So I did. For this price point ($139), I could not find anything better/comparable. I went back and bought them. I just finished recording a song with them and they are great!. The sound quality is balanced, they feel sturdy and they are comfortable. I wore them for about three hours straight and my ears didn't hurt! I gave the Features a 4 because the mini jack is quite loose. when plugged into a computer, it slides out really easily. When recording, I use the quarter inch adapter that comes with it, and that works fine when plugged into my mixing board. Also, these headphones do not have a volume control on them. But, if you are not going to use the mini jack and you don't need a volume control on the phones, these are a great buy.

These are exceptionally clear headphones with good balance. They aren't perfectly neutral, but I wouldn't expect anything at this price point to be. Having said that, they are very close. I was previously using Sennheiser HD 280 Pro's and the 6400's are brighter with better controlled bass, and way more treble extension and clarity. My girlfriend uses Shure SRH440's. I find the 6400's to have a warmer tone overall. I also compared them in store to the Audio technica m40x's and the clarity was not even close on the m40x headphones to my ears. I'm utterly shocked how good they are for the money I spent. They need more recognition.
