The building quality is certainly flawless it gonna last you forever but if you put any guitar on it you gonna destroy it, this thing is a terrible stand and the weight of the instruments make it fall very easy

La poignée d'ajustement centrale est devenue toute collante et a cassé. Le support est maintenant inutilisable. Une chance qu'il n'y avait pas un de mes précieux instrument dessus.

I had the exact same thing happen to a single Hercules stand last year. I have two others. One is not tacky at the handle and the other is slightly tacky. When the first one broken (fell apart) I just drilled and bolted it together making it non-adjustable. Disappointed really.

I bought this model of stand about five years ago (not from L&M). I liked it until approx. 2015 when I noticed some of the stand's parts were sticky/tacky. I thought someone had spilled a drink on it. I rarely used it in my apt. and really only used it outside my apt., about once-a-year at some friends' jams. Anyway, I figured that (spilled a drink on it) wasn't the cause because the rest of the stand wasn't sticky. In March, I decided to try to wash the sticky parts but they remained sticky and the telescopic handle broke, ejecting the spring and a broken retainer onto the floor. I trashed the whole thing. I saw the same type of review on L&M's for Hercules' three guitar stand. Things may have changed but I'm not buying another to find out. I ordered a Yorkville Sound three-guitar rack on June 11, 2018. I have a good feeling about this one? lol Cheers.
