Fender unveiled its Tweed series amps to great success and acclaim in 1993. The concept: What if a great old, collectable, 1950's Deluxe or Bassman was customized with channel switching and reverb?

Behold the Reissue Blues DeVille 410, a vintage-style tube amp with boutique tone at a great price that many a pro rock, country and blues player has used to superb effect.

While its newer cousin, the Hot Rod DeVille, has many modern refinements, more and more enthusiasts continue to request the warm tone, unique circuitry, classic features and sharp look of the original version.

Accordingly, the Reissue Blues DeVille pours 60 watts into four, 10", blue Alnico-Magnet Eminence speakers, fueled by two 6L6 output tubes and three 12AX7 preamp tubes.

Its two channels - normal (with bright switch) and drive - are voiced for classic blues, country and rock. Other features include Fender spring reverb, an effects loop and two-button channel footswitch. The great look includes tweed covering, chicken head pointer knobs and a chrome control panel.

I own the US version and it is amazing. Really loud with great tone whether using a les paul, strat or tele. Highly recommend it.

I have the original made in USA version of this amp - must be at least 15 years old. They were discontinued for a while and are now made in Mexico. This is my favourite amp. I play mostly swing and blues and it sounds great with both a tele and a Les Paul. It has been very reliable and only needed repiars once for a "mid" control knob that stopped working. It is quite heavy and, at my age, I find myself using a Mustang II for smaller gigs and rehearsals when I don't want to lug the DeVille around. While I like the Mustang, it just does not have the warm goodness of the "Good Old Deville". In summary, the Deville sounds great and has proven to be a dependable work horse of an amp.

Bought new 2005 from L&M. Tone gets better with time and after about 1 hour of play I use it. I play vol 4, Strat vol 5 or 6. Reverb is low key not lush like the Twin Reverb amp, but still has classic Fender sound. Solid amp, effects loop, tweed. No problems since I bought it new.

I took one of these on trade for a Traynor stack I was selling, and have never regretted it. don't get me wrong, love traynor products but lugging around a stack at 40 years of age is not appealing! Great sounding amp and very loud. My only beef is that the reverb tank failed even though it has never been used outside the house since I got it. But, reverb tanks are very easy to break these day, so I can't complain too much. I love the classic styling of the amp as well. tweed on an amp is the way to go and I have considered laquering it to make it look vintage, but we'll see.

I bought one of these babies brand new in 1994, have played it regularly and it has never needed servicing. The build quality, fit and finish and sound is spectacular. Sure it may not have all the "doodad fads" that some of today's death metal head rockers may want, but if your looking for that warm, pure, classic fender tone with the included option of a gain channel perfectly matched for blues and good ol rock n roll then look no further! I own 5 Fender tube amps and a Marshall half stack, when the musician clan comes over to play, ol "Tweedie" always gets my nod ! Matched with a Cry Baby Wah and a Tube Screamer pedal this Tweed tone monster not only looks great, it blows the wax outa your ears with style ! How many times have you seen one these beauties on the used market ? Rarely if at all ! If you got one keep it or you'll regret it ! If you see one for sale, don't hesitate or someone else will be smiling from ear to ear, so just buy it and own an instant classic !!!

Performance Warranty Banner

Protect your investment with the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty

A warranty can be a very important factor when making a buying decision. Because repairs can be very expensive in terms of parts and labour costs, manufacturers usually only provide one year limited warranties that generally only cover items that malfunction due to a manufacturer’s defect. With an important purchase such as a musical
instrument or piece of studio gear, however, many people want to have the peace of mind in knowing that their investment will be protected should the product no longer be performing at 100%.

Because of this, Long & McQuade provides our customers with a FREE one-year Performance Warranty on most of our products. The Long & McQuade Performance Warranty supplements the manufacturer’s warranty to ensure that our customers receive complete “no hassle” warranty coverage within their first year.

How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
  • Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.
  • Product Replacement: If your product cannot be fixed or costs too much to fix, we will replace it with the equivalent model for no additional charge. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
  • No Lemon Policy: Your product will be replaced should the same problem occur multiple times.
  • Convenient: Easy drop off and pick up of the product at any Long & McQuade location.
  • Guitar Setup: Guitars purchased at Long & McQuade come with 1 free setup, to be redeemed within 1 year for new guitars and 90 days for used guitars.
  • Loaners Available: A loaner product may be given while the product is being repaired.
  • Power Surge Protection: Your product is covered even if damaged from a power surge.
  • Accessory Coverage: Any peripheral devices or accessories that come with your product (i.e. foot pedal, case) are also covered.
  • Commercial Use Coverage: Music and recording professionals who purchase gear for “heavy-use” commercial purposes will still be covered.

Long & McQuade reserves the right to restrict the purchase of additional years of Performance Warranty. Used products come with a 3-month Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Some products (i.e. computers, software, cymbals and other items) are covered only by the manufacturer‘s warranty. Consumables (i.e. strings, reeds, drum sticks, batteries, tubes, cross faders) are excluded as they are designed to be replaced. Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.

Purchasing additional years of coverage

Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.

If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:

  • NEW products: Starting at 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. Starting at 4% for each additional year.
  • USED products: Starting at 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. Starting at 4% for each additional year.
  • GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
  • BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
