I saw one of these units at a fire sale and bought it for $55. It was in a non-functioning state, and since I loved tinkering with electronics anyway, it was worth a try. As it turns out, the main power transformer was shot, so I ended up replacing that original torriodal transformer two regular external units. I've since found out that this is a common occurrence with these units. Aside from that, they sound great and are generally worth the money, just BEWARE of that damned transformer!

Have used these for 5yrs now and they're still sounding as good as anything 3 times the price. Very quiet..... transparent & easy to use. Just forget about them and make your music. It's a Behringer, which is hit or miss, so check it out carefully (to be fair, I've had problems with other major brands as well).
