In search for 'the perfect ride? I have collected 9 rides and this one is a special one I couldn't be without. Just enough stick definition (wood tip) to cut through the band a unique quiet bell sound that still cuts and she crashes like a crash cymbal. It is warm and expressive and capable of many different sounds.
It's a great ride to bring to the bar gig because it comes through but doesn't pierce anyone's ears. For smaller venues and stages you could use example an 18 crash and the 22 ride as your ride and also second crash it can do that. The crash decays quickly allowing you to keep riding all while maintaining this awesome wash that never really can get out of hand. It's dark and warm and awesome !!
