Headhunters Flip Outs - Wire Brushes - Retractable
Flip Outs Brushes
A retractable wire drum brush, the Flip Outs do not have a pull rod which reduces their overall weight as compared to the Jazz Brush. These convenient and durable brushes only require a simple 'flick of the wrist' in order to engage the wires into a playing position. GripSure handles and an anti-slip inner sleeve mean the wires will remain exactly where you want them. Flips Outs have a standard 7/16 diameter tube with a comfortable rubber grip. The O/D diameter is just over 5/8 of an inch. The wire gauge is a standard .011 inch.
Headhunters produces some of the most unique modern brush designs to reach drummers today. Wire drum brushes were first invented in 1913. After 100 years of very little change to the concept of wire brushes, they have redesigned and revolutionized the entire concept. The line ranges from conventional brushes such as the Jazz, Jazz Rock, Terry Clark Jazz and Flip Outs to the Cyclops, Dreamcatchers, Rhino, and Sabre-Tooth models, which offer a new and remarkable level of control over sound and feel.
