Bought this unit about 3 years ago for use with a Tascam DP-008 compact recorder. Seemed reasonably well constructed for a $40 item. Only had light use during that time. Initially worked OK, very basic which was fine. But, one of the headphone outs started to be intermittent fairly early on and now two are completely gone.

Does exactly what it says; audio quality is probably good enough for most uses. However, eventually one of the channels on mine stopped producing sound. Pretty much what you'd expect from behringer.

This headphone amp for my small studio monitoring for more than 1 person does fine. The price for it was cheap and it does the job. It can get noisy if you push it too loud but decently clean at normal volume and for my purposes. The knobs just don't turn smoothly so the build quality is a little eh. I guess that's to expect with behringer. The casing is in fact metal and feels decent. An on/off switch would've been nice.

I have 4 of these units for my studio and they really kick and have lots of gain (even for drummers).
Like most Behringer products, it can be hit or miss, so check them out carefully.... ours have been just great.

Major grounding problem on the input. Cheap plastic coated jacks. Fragile pot shafts. Save your money and put it toward a better quality amp.

It took a long time to get to the store after I ordered it, but it was definitely worth the wait. This thing works perfectly, sounds great, and it POUNDS! An on/off switch would have been nice, but for $40, what do you want? One minor issue - the jack where the 12V power supply connects is a little sketchy, you need to get it sitting just right - I give the quality an 8 because of that. All in all, I'm very pleased with this unit and would buy another one.
