The good: Bright tone, long lasting and inexpensive. The bad: I found after using a couple packs of GHS Guitar Boomers that the unwound strings seemed to be noticeably and rapidly wearing down the frets on my American Strat. I took them off and went back to other strings (Fender, Gibson, D'Addario, etc).
