It was an easy installation and fit my Japanese Telecaster with ease. The bridge is made in Taiwan but the quality is excellent and the machining is perfect with no issues to note. My Tele is also very light and this bridge is heavier than the 3 saddle bridge I replaced so now it no longer neck dives on me which is perfect. Be aware that on some Tele models it may not fit your pickup and you can sheer the wiring. Be careful when installing, I would suggest making sure the pickup fits through the slot before clamping everything together. It should be a perfect fit.
Tonal difference seems to be minimal, I notice a slight increase in sustain and a more balanced sound (not quite as 'twangy'), seems to have a bit more mids that clouds over the treble (to my ears). Its WAY more comfortable to mute on this bridge and you can dial intonation in much more accurately with 6 saddles compared to the vintage 3 saddle barrel design.
Overall Highly recommended, this bridge is a steal in terms of the price and quality!
