Sadly, my days of punk and rockabilly are now just mere nicks and scratches on my surviving gear. Four decades after realizing the reason I could never make a sensible beat on any drumset was because i was lefthanded, I confronted my erstwhile curiosity and inherent backwardness and assembled a kit from a local purveyor of fine drummage. Double sadly, Phil didn't have a crash to sell me on the cheap. After some random tinging at L&M, I happily settled on this shiny little gem. Not too loud, not too big, and not too expensive. A swell final addition to my cobbled up beat jalopy. Just the right fit for the cluttered garage, dingey dive, or cozy living room parties. Sounds super on the sorta folk rock, funk and shuffles we oldish farts are known for. Hit it softly, it crashes softly. Hit it hardly, and waitaminute, gotta think about this a mo...no, Hit it heartily, and it crashes heartily. You can almost use it as a ride. I like it. Plus, it's shiny.
