DAddario NYXL guitar strings will bend farther, sing louder, and stay in tune better than any string youve played before. Envisioned, perfected, and manufactured by DAddario in New York, this newly engineered, break-resistant, high-carbon steel core and plain steel alloy delivers a whole new level of freedom, confidence, and power. NYXLs provide more strength and 131% greater tuning stability by utilizing a completely reinvented wire drawing process combined with a revolutionary fusion twist at the ball end of the plain steel strings. The reformulated nickel plated string windings have greater magnetic properties resulting in higher output and enhanced mid-range frequency response for more presence and crunch. The NYXL1046 set is designed with the most popular string gauges for its ideal combination of flexibility and tone.
• NYXLs feature DAddarios exclusive high carbon steel alloy for unprecedented strength

Tuning stability is a perennial issue with Floyd Rose bridges. However, these NYXL strings, coupled with Grover 106 locking tuners, have pretty much eliminated that nuisance. These hold up to bending and "dive bombing" better than anything else I've tried. Nice strings, awesome "muscle memory", and really decent tone.

Playing guitar for over 50 years, and always said I dislike D'Addario strings till I tried a set of those NYXL. I'm now using exclusively those strings on all my 5 electric guitars ( 2 USA Strats, a Gibson LesPaul, a PRS SE, and my new Epi Casino ) I never felt better on the neck since I've used those strings. I recommend everybody to try once... Oh..they sounds just great !

I find these are just a bit mellower than the EXL110. But I'm not sure they are quite worth twice the cost. I got a set to test for myself so I could put the wondering away. I put them on my strat which I think was the right guitar for them. Not sure I would have gained any value on my tele's with them as I like the biteyer tele sounds unless you like soft music from the neck pup and or do Jazz like stuff on a tele.

I've always been a firm believer in strings are strings and have always gone with the cheaper strings thinking they are the same. After getting a gift card I thought I would treat myself and I am shocked at the quality of these strings. They have made my run of the mill squier strat sounds amazing the thing sings with this thing on! I'll go back to cheaper strings one day but for now these things are what dreams are made of, don't believe me try them for yourself you will not be disappointed.

I use mostly EB extra slinky nickel-wound strings. I tried out the super slinky coblat strings. The sound is more solid, and each string can be more clearly heard (on the nickel-wounds, the individual strings making up a barre chord melt into one another and you hear almost a single, unified sound without hearing the individual notes). Of course, I haven't tried the extra slinky cobalts yet.

These strings are phenomenal! I had a set given to me by the guys at my local L&M to just try out and let them know what i think. I put them on my Jackson King V with low expectations cause to be honest I am not a D'Addario fan always found their strings to be bland and murder on my fingers, been a loyal Ernie Ball guy for 10yrs. But WOW! these strings are nothing like i've ever played. They feel great, play great and sound even better and are tough as hell! I seriously recommend these to anyone playing with a floyd rose or bigsby style bridge they actually hold their tune and intonation better then any strings i've used in the past.
