I opened the old cardboard box and sorted out some tubes and plugged them into the VI position on my Traynor YBA-1. Sound? It was like changing pickups on a tone arm. I had from several countries, ages, This particular tube was pulled from another piece of Traynor equipment (I have a lot of gear) is Russian made. Hands down, Best tube. So good, I put it into my old YBA-3.
