With the Romantic Offenbach series, we want to focus on the other Offenbach and present jewels from Offenbach's still little-performed works, some of which were only made accessible again a few years ago through first publications, which show us a more serious, sometimes melancholy Offenbach, the antithesis to the frenetic exuberance of Parisian life.
