I really wanted to put some locking tuners on my guitar and I decided to buy these as they were the only options in any of the three nearby locations. I wasn't fussy about the autotrim function before I bought them, but I HAVE to say, it works so simply and effectively that I quickly fell in love with it.
I should note the tuners I bought were "new" but had been on the shelf for years (the sales guy told me the package had changed at least five years prior) and the box had been opened a few times and the small mounting screws were missing. I'm not sure if they would normally be included and mine got swiped or if they assume the tuners you're replacing would have them.
