Fender American Vintage II 1957 Stratocaster Neck, 21 Vintage Tall Frets, 7.25'' Radius, Maple
Additional Photos:
In vintage years, the shape and thickness of Fender guitar necks varied tremendously. The American Vintage II Series features authentic neck profiles from Fender's past. Crafted at Fender's Corona, Calif. manufacturing facility, this genuine Fender American Vintage II 1957 Stratocaster 1-piece maple neck features a "V"-shaped profile and 7.25"-radius fingerboard with 21 vintage-tall frets.
The bone nut is pre-slotted with "pilot" string location grooves to make spacing a breeze when performing the final string slot filing and a lacquer finish offers a vintage feel. This replacement neck is the perfect way to give your Strat® an authentically '50s feel.
This replacement neck is for a Fender or Squier® by Fender guitars. Because Fender genuine replacement necks have not been mounted to guitar bodies, nut slots must be cut by qualified personnel. Other installation processes may be required, such as fret work, fitting the neck to the neck pocket, and other instrument setup procedures. Contact your local Long & McQuade to install genuine replacement necks.
