EXPANDABLE AUDIO INTERFACE
Until now, audio interfaces have become obsolete the minute you realize you need more inputs and more control. With MORE YOU, you start with what you need and expand by adding 2X units or additional Hubs-whenever you need them! If you're in a band, each member can have their own Hub to use at home and bring to rehearsals and recording sessions. The system can accommodate up to eight musicians, and each musician gets two inputs!
YOUR DAW'S NEW BEST FRIEND
MORE YOU will be your faithful companion, integrating into your creative process as an intuitive tool. MORE YOU will grow with you as your music career grows, providing MORE channels and MORE recording options.
CONTROL YOURSELF
Each musician/singer with either a MORE YOU Hub or a MORE YOU 2X has two inputs-for example, a vocal microphone and a guitar. The Hub or 2X is mounted on a mic stand right in front of you. Plug in your mic and guitar, plug in headphones/earbuds/in-ears (with either 1/4" or 1/8" plugs), and control the volume of each input at any time-adding reverb on either or both inputs, if and as desired!
XLR YOU READY?
The MORE PORT connects your Hub or 2X to other units in your system, sending a huge amount of digital audio information through standard XLR microphone cables; no need for Ethernet or expensive digital cabling! One standard XLR cable carries up to 24 input signals and 20 output signals. As incredible as that is... there's more! The same cable also transmits TalkBack audio and carries enough power for up to eight MORE YOU units, originating from a single power source connected to the Hub! In a typical studio, this innovative use of XLR cabling can mean the elimination of 25 or more cables-saving you hassle, clutter and money!
MIX IT UP
The MORE YOU Hub is the master control of the system. That's where the overall monitoring mix is adjusted, but on top of that, each user can control the levels of their own inputs on their personal Hub or 2X (thats the "More You" part!). This integrated "Live Cue System" offers control of Level and Pan with a Master Preamp section with Gain, 48V Phantom Power, Phase and Hi-Pass Filter for each input. When the system is connected to a computer by data USB-C cable and is sending audio to a DAW, you can record all the inputs. But if you're not recording, you don't need a DAW-the MORE YOU system operates as a standalone headphone/in-ear monitoring system for rehearsing with up to eight musicians without a PA system.
MONITOR YOUR OPTIONS
Connect your studio monitors to the MORE YOU Hub, and with the push of one dedicated button, select what you hear in your studio monitors: your DAW Main Mix, or the full MORE YOU Live Mix (which includes MORE YOU internal Live Inputs and your current DAW mix)- in full stereo. Musicians can also choose what they hear from the DAW in their headphones/earbuds/in-ears: the DAW Main Mix, or a DAW Cue Mix.
MONITOR YOUR PLUGINS
Often musicians use plugins with instruments and vocals, and they want to hear the effected signal as they perform. With MORE YOU, insert an amp plugin on your guitar or bass, or a tuning or FX plugin on your vocal, and hear the processed signal through your HUB or 2X station. Whereas other systems offer only primitive blend knobs or buttons, every MORE YOU input has its own direct monitoring control for maximum flexibility.
PRISTINE PRE
MORE YOU features True Gain, pristine-sounding analog mic preamps that are digitally controlled, with 1dB steps for precise gain recall and a colorful LCD screen that gives users a visual of their input signal and gain. Since musicians and singers are connecting their microphone or instrument into a Hub or 2X that is literally right in front of them, they can use shorter cables, resulting in maximum headroom and signal integrity.
ADVANCED AUTO GAIN
Currently other interfaces offer only a limited Auto Gain function, but MORE YOU expands this greatly with a more intelligent Auto Gain on individual channels or on ALL channels connected to the MORE PORT. Simply hit "Auto Gain ALL" and it will automatically set the gain for ALL More You channels.
LCD SCREEN
Other systems require software that provides only limited monitoring control. These apps are not user-friendly, and they create a barrier between your DAW and your interface, requiring advanced I/O settings. MORE YOU vastly simplifies this with an internal MORE YOU Live Mix. The Hub-s onboard LCD screen shows all information for direct control. There are no deep menus; everything is controlled with two encoders and an efficient layout.
TALKBACK TO ME
Communication is everything when you're rehearsing, writing or performing with other musicians! In the past you had to remove your headphones-and/or move to other rooms-to talk to fellow musicians during a recording session or rehearsal. MORE YOU gives you immediate Talkback between all musicians!
MORE POWER
Whether you're using only one Hub, or up to eight Hubs/2X units, they can all be powered from ONE power supply! If using one Hub, simply connect one USB-C data cable from your Hub to a desktop or laptop computer. As you expand and add Hubs and 2X units, plug in a standard 65W USB power supply to the main Hub-and you automatically send power to all the other units chained together through the MORE YOU ports! The power on/off button on the Hub controls power to the entire system. When you power down and up again, the most recent settings on all connected units are all automatically recalled.
MORE INS VIA ADAT
The main Hub features an ADAT port which offers a simple connection to any ADAT equipment such as an 8-channel mic preamp that has an ADAT output.
MINI MIDI
1/8" MIDI ports on the back of the main Hub allow you to send MIDI from a keyboard (or other MIDI device) to your DAW through the MORE YOU system.
STURDY ON A STAND
MORE YOU features a built-in mic stand clip mount. Simply remove the two screws from the clip compartment on the left side of the unit to reveal the mic stand clip, which can be mounted on either the left or right side of the Hub or 2X unit.
Features
• Expansion unit for the More You system; must be connected to a More You Hub. Up to seven 2X units can be chained from a Hub.• Two combo input jacks (XLR + 1/4") accept microphones or instruments. Protect your investment with the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty
A warranty can be a very important factor when making a buying decision. Because repairs can be very expensive in terms of parts and labour costs, manufacturers usually only provide one year limited warranties that generally only cover items that malfunction due to a manufacturer’s defect. With an important purchase such as a musical
instrument or piece of studio gear, however, many people want to have the peace of mind in knowing that their investment will be protected should the product no longer be performing at 100%.
Because of this, Long & McQuade provides our customers with a FREE one-year Performance Warranty on most of our products. The Long & McQuade Performance Warranty supplements the manufacturer’s warranty to ensure that our customers receive complete “no hassle” warranty coverage within their first year.
How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
- Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.
- Product Replacement: If your product cannot be fixed or costs too much to fix, we will replace it with the equivalent model for no additional charge. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
- No Lemon Policy: Your product will be replaced should the same problem occur multiple times.
- Convenient: Easy drop off and pick up of the product at any Long & McQuade location.
- Guitar Setup: Guitars purchased at Long & McQuade come with 1 free setup, to be redeemed within 1 year for new guitars and 90 days for used guitars.
- Loaners Available: A loaner product may be given while the product is being repaired.
- Power Surge Protection: Your product is covered even if damaged from a power surge.
- Accessory Coverage: Any peripheral devices or accessories that come with your product (i.e. foot pedal, case) are also covered.
- Commercial Use Coverage: Music and recording professionals who purchase gear for “heavy-use” commercial purposes will still be covered.
Long & McQuade reserves the right to restrict the purchase of additional years of Performance Warranty. Used products come with a 3-month Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Some products (i.e. computers, software, cymbals and other items) are covered only by the manufacturer‘s warranty. Consumables (i.e. strings, reeds, drum sticks, batteries, tubes, cross faders) are excluded as they are designed to be replaced. Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.
Purchasing additional years of coverage
Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.
If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:
- NEW products: Starting at 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. Starting at 4% for each additional year.
- USED products: Starting at 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. Starting at 4% for each additional year.
- GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
- BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
