The Digital Nomad
With a tiny Footprint and 14 tasty effect types, PLETHORA X1 is ready to move on when you are. It can be whatever pedal you need it to be at exactly this point of your pedalboard journey. In one phase you may be exploring all dimensions of stereo chorus, but further down the road, you may decide to experiment with compression or take a deep dive into shimmering reverb. Feel free to experiment and let PLETHORA X1 occupy whatever slot on your pedalboard where you need it to do its magic.

Being a digital nomad doesn't necessarily mean wandering around endlessly in the desert but can also be about setting up camp for some time in one destination, yet knowing that when the urge arises, you can move on. Think of PLETHORA X1 as the one pedal that will stand by your side throughout your eternal pedalboard journey, adapting into exactly what you need at any given point.

A Box of Sonic Steroids
PLETHORA X1 is a dedicated TonePrint loader that covers the entire range of TonePrint pedals. Sonic stompbox-sized flexibility is simply an understatement. Depending on your needs and current projects, let PLETHORA X1 be an ambient and flavorful reverb - until you need it to be a slapback echo for an upcoming rockabilly gig.

Effects include: Hall of Fame 2 Reverb, Flashback 2 Delay, Helix Phaser, Viscous Vibe, Sub n Up Octaver, Brainwaves Pitch Shifter, Corona Chorus, Hypergravity Compressor, Mimiq Doubler, Vortex Flanger, Pipeline Tap Tremolo, Quintessence Harmony, Sentry Noise Gate and Shaker Vibrato.

Five Ways to Stomp
You can utilize the single footswitch on PLETHORA X1 in five different ways. In "latching" mode, it simply turns the effect on and off, and in "momentary", the effect is only applied for as long as you press and hold the footswitch. In "A/B" mode, you can switch between two different effects, and when relevant, you can also tap the tempo, using the footswitch. And then, of course, there is the MASH function:

Mash It Up
Express yourself with the tactile footswitch layer: Simply press and MASH! With MASH, a whole new world of ways to manipulate your effects emerges. Prepare for a mind-bending journey of frozen delays, whammy-like pitch-shifting, extreme modulation and much more. Behringer has also integrated a dedicated MASH LED where the light strength follows the amount of MASH you apply. But phenomenal sound with visual feedback in real-time is really just the beginning...

Boards, Slots & TonePrints
PLETHORA X1 comes packed with great effect right out of the gates. You can flick between seven boards with two effect types pre-loaded - one in Slot A and one in Slot B. In other words, you get access to all 14 effect types from the get-go. But if you want to bring unique artist TonePrints to the table, simply upload new ones as you see fit. The boards and slots are 100% flexible, and if you want 14 different FlashBack 2 Delay TonePrints, simply upload them. The 1" LCD screen will help you keep track of what is loaded at any given time.

Connect. Upload. Go!
Connect the free TonePrint App to PLETHORA X1 via Bluetooth to effortlessly import scorching sounds from our ever-growing TonePrint library of which most of the items are created by some of the world's best musicians. In other words, today PLETHORA X1 will drop your jaw to your lap tomorrow it will hit the floor. The keyword here is "future-proof"! Speaking of, Behringer will keep your PLETHORA X1 cutting edge with regular firmware updates, including new boards, TonePrints, and more...

Editing Extravaganza
You may prefer to simply use the TonePrints as they were meticulously designed by masterful players, but if you feel like adjusting them or even tweaking out your own custom TonePrints, Behringer welcomes you to go nuts in the TonePrint Editor where you gain access to a, well, plethora of effect parameters and creative possibilities!

Time to Take Control
When you have loaded your TonePrint into the PLETHORA X1, you want easy and intuitive control. Once your drummer counts you in, the time for deep editing has passed and on-the-fly control is all that matters. PLETHORA X1 can be adjusted fast via three simple knobs that let you tweak key parameters mid-song.

Set it. We Won't Forget It.
PLETHORA X1 automatically saves your settings as you go. No need to constantly reminding yourself to hit that "Save" button or fear losing your latest effect preset. Behringer want to give you peace of mind, knowing that PLETHORA X1 has your back once the music starts playing!

Stereo Makes the World Go Round
With Stereo inputs and outputs, you can make the most of the effect types that benefit from having access to a wide sonic playground. This could be mesmerising reverbs, ever-moving delay tales, broad harmonies, lush phasing, and so much more.

Performance Warranty Banner

Protect your investment with the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty

A warranty can be a very important factor when making a buying decision. Because repairs can be very expensive in terms of parts and labour costs, manufacturers usually only provide one year limited warranties that generally only cover items that malfunction due to a manufacturer’s defect. With an important purchase such as a musical
instrument or piece of studio gear, however, many people want to have the peace of mind in knowing that their investment will be protected should the product no longer be performing at 100%.

Because of this, Long & McQuade provides our customers with a FREE one-year Performance Warranty on most of our products. The Long & McQuade Performance Warranty supplements the manufacturer’s warranty to ensure that our customers receive complete “no hassle” warranty coverage within their first year.

How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
  • Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.
  • Product Replacement: If your product cannot be fixed or costs too much to fix, we will replace it with the equivalent model for no additional charge. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
  • No Lemon Policy: Your product will be replaced should the same problem occur multiple times.
  • Convenient: Easy drop off and pick up of the product at any Long & McQuade location.
  • Guitar Setup: Guitars purchased at Long & McQuade come with 1 free setup, to be redeemed within 1 year for new guitars and 90 days for used guitars.
  • Loaners Available: A loaner product may be given while the product is being repaired.
  • Power Surge Protection: Your product is covered even if damaged from a power surge.
  • Accessory Coverage: Any peripheral devices or accessories that come with your product (i.e. foot pedal, case) are also covered.
  • Commercial Use Coverage: Music and recording professionals who purchase gear for “heavy-use” commercial purposes will still be covered.

Long & McQuade reserves the right to restrict the purchase of additional years of Performance Warranty. Used products come with a 3-month Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Some products (i.e. computers, software, cymbals and other items) are covered only by the manufacturer‘s warranty. Consumables (i.e. strings, reeds, drum sticks, batteries, tubes, cross faders) are excluded as they are designed to be replaced. Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.

Purchasing additional years of coverage

Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.

If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:

  • NEW products: Starting at 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. Starting at 4% for each additional year.
  • USED products: Starting at 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. Starting at 4% for each additional year.
  • GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
  • BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
