E.L. Lancaster is a piano faculty member at California State University Northridge and serves as editor-in-chief of Piano Education Press, the publishing arm of the Frances Clark Center for Keyboard Pedagogy. Omar Roy is Assistant Professor of Piano and Piano Pedagogy at the University of South Carolina where he is Coordinator of Group Piano and teaches applied piano and piano pedagogy. The rote studies included in the book have been tested with students and found to help reinforce important theoretical concepts and technical skills.
