Belwin Fum, Fum, Fum - Spanish Carol/Story - Concert Band - Gr. 1
Music: Traditional Spanish Carol
Arranger: Michael Story
Format: Score and Parts
Instrumentation: Concert Band
Level: 1 (Very Easy)
Fum, Fum, Fum is a traditional 16th or 17th century Catalonian (Spanish) Christmas carol that is very popular worldwide. The name originates not from the Spanish language, but is derived from the sound of the strumming of a stringed musical instrument, probably a guitar.
This arrangement of the popular carol is scored for seven percussionists. If you have fewer players, please note that the mallet percussion, timpani and bass drum parts are all completely optional and may be omitted. If castanets are not available, you may substitute a woodblock played with snare drum sticks.
