John "Dandy" Rodriguez is an icon and played a major role in LPs origin story. Playing with Tito Puente as a teenager in the early 1960's, Dandy fostered the connection between LP founder Martin Cohen and the Latin community that helped get the fledging company off the ground. As part of the brands 60th Anniversary, LP is paying tribute to this living legend with these limited zebra wood bongos that harken to the zebra bongos LP produced in the 1970's.

LP worked with the DW wood whisperer John Good to source a special lot of Zebra wood to craft this version of the Dandy bongos. These celebratory bongos feature single-ply stave shells with 7-1/4" and 9" heads that are fitted chrome-plated traditional hardware. Limited to 200 sets worldwide, each set is signed and numbered by Dandy making them a true collectible.
