Bach's great monument, The Art of Fugue has been transcribed by Ralph Sauer for Four Part Trombone Ensemble. Volume 1 contains Contrapuncti 1 through 5.
Although playable by a quartet, the Fugues may be performed by a larger ensemble with the included optional divisi. Playable by moderately advanced players. This piece could be a major part of any Trombone ensemble program.
