This famous aria from Mozart's final opera, The Magic Flute is beautifully transcribed by Russ Schultz. Russ is a Bass Trombonist , alumnus of Eastman School of Music, from the class of 1970 and studied with the late Emory Remington. He is the Director of the College of Fine Arts and Communication at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. This beautiful three minute work is scored for 4 Trombones featuring Bass Trombone solo. This work is of medium difficulty and should be accessible to advanced high school through to advanced performers. Range goes from a low C below the Bass Clef for bass bone to a high B-flat for the 1st Tenor Trombone part (Tenor Clef for the top two parts).
