Stand is fine and a cost effective option if your intention is to set it up and leave it, but it does not withstand the rigours of daily set up and collapse. Within a year, it was falling apart and collapsing during practice. If your intention is to have a truly portable music stand, invest in a better quality model.

I just purchased my second stand - my daughter 'stole' my first one and doesn't want to give it back. The first one I got in 1980, and it's been in steady use since then and still looks brand new. Sometimes as a sheet music stand, but often times for other things. It's seen many, many moves and been all across the country with me.
It's not suitable for a heavy binder, but it works for loose sheets of paper or thin music books / pads of paper / small art canvases. It folds up nicely and can fit in a suitcase easily.

Such product is good for basic use, although it slides somewhat difficult when folding it, on the other hand it is good for personal use. Very good aid for doing music.

This is an affordable music stand, low priced, portable, great for choir practice. If you are looking for something more sturdy, be prepared to spend more money.

This thing is really hard to fold. It does not slide easily. Watch your fingers when you are folding the top part! Nevertheless, it will do if you are just looking for a basic music stand. Good luck !
