I own two of the 20' cables and in my experience they are workhorses and you can't go wrong with a lifetime warranty. Used both for heavy gigging for 6-7 years, recently one gave out, I brought it back to my local L+M and they replaced it with a brand new one no questions asked, the other one is still going strong. I think the braided/fabric wrapping makes the wires more resistant to wear and tear, but if it gets wet you have to hang them up to dry, so that's the only thing to be careful about.

I just read all the bad reviews for Yorkville cables and I'm actually a bit surprised. I've had this vintage style cable for almost 10 years and it's been very reliable and no issues with noise/crackling. I bought it because I liked that vintage braid style and thought it was a decent brand. Apparently these cables can be a bit hit or miss. Maybe I'm extremely careful with my cables? Not sure what else to suggest other than bad quality control.

This cable is trash. Made me think my tubes were gone on my amp. Crackle like crazy and only had them for 2 or 3 months. Absolute garbage. Going back to planet waves until I can get a Mogami. Lifetime warranty is useless if they last 2 months. Cant be returning them 6 times a year. Gonne use them in my jam room. Live definitely not an option. Terrible!!!! Yorkville should be embarrassed. I'll probably never buy another yorkville product again. Lost a customer for life. Should have been a 0

My $15.00, 20ft plain cable stopped working. Picked this one up for a bit more money. I wanted something that looked different from my other cable as I plug the guitar into an iRig 2. This way I know right away which cable goes to the amp and which one goes into the instrument.
The only thing I don't like is the length of the rubber cable sheath. It really sticks far out of the guitar before it starts to curve down.

I thought I would give this cable a try, after all with long and mcquades return policy on Yorkville products i thought "it's no big risk". I began using this cable with my electric guitar and tube amp and found that there was always a crackling background noise. At first I thought that the noise was coming from my guitar or my amp but I was relieved to find that the noise was in fact from the cable. I swapped the cable for my trusty 15 year old planet waves cable and not only did the background noise immediately clear up but the sound was much louder and much more responsive. Anyway, point of this rant, don't be a cheapskate buy a good cable. I gave this product partial marks because it looks cool but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I will be returning it to the store. Yorkville should be ashamed of themselves for stamping their name on this inferior product.

They look pretty good for a basic cable. The jacks could use a better strain relief, but it hasn't failed so I bought another one.
