Mo Ghile Mear is written in the Irish language - a pronunciation guide is available.

Written by the 18th century poet, Sean Clarach Mac Domhnaill, Mo Ghile Mear is a traditional Irish allegorical song in which the poet laments the departure of Prince Charles Edward Stuart (Bonnie Prince Charlie). This arrangement features the Irish single-headed frame drum, the bodhran, but an alternative hand-played frame drum may be used as a substitute.
