Was looking for a quality stand for a Landscape Swingmaster elite electric bass. The stand is perfect and adjusts to having the pin extended...able to take it off easily.. Ordered a second one for another.

I bought this to replace my old Hamilton stand for my 3/4 Hofner double bass. I've had the Hamilton since 1971 (yeah, I know) and always had to be very particular about setting it up. On that old stand the bass always had to be very carefully balanced and the screws kept tight to keep the whole thing from crashing. Sort of like a non-stop high wire act without a net. By contrast, this Ingles is head and shoulders above the Hamilton for stability. One reason I kept the Hamilton was because I could keep the endpin fully extended in the stand - an important feature if you always want your bass to be ready for practice. I'm over 6' tall and this Ingles stand also allows the endpin to stay fully extended. If I wanted to find a small criticism, I could wish that the legs sat just a tiny bit wider when set up. But as it's so stable that's a minor point. I will say that my bass with the endpin fully extended is about as big as this stand can handle; the neck heel is very nearly touching the neck rest. However, if you're under six foot or otherwise use a shorter peg extension then in my view this stand could handle a larger instrument.
