The lite LS200P is an ultra-compact powered subwoofer that features a single 10" speaker and a built in 600 watt (Peak) power module. The precisely tuned band-pass enclosure of the LS200P provides rock-solid low frequency output previously available only from much larger cabinets. In fact, the unique combination of high-excursion woofers, electronic control and proprietary, series-loaded box design results in higher acoustic output than many single 18" enclosures which are 30-50% larger!

Yorkville's powered lite subwoofers reflect the synergistic advantage of integrating electronic and acoustic elements into one attractive package that is very versatile, transportable and, above all - great sounding! These enclosures offer the ultimate in 'plug and play' convenience while maximizing sonic performance. Advanced sensing circuitry offers sonically transparent limiting and thermal driver protection for maximum reliability.

I'm using this for my home system, with an EQ I tape off the low end going to my main amps, thus sparing the main amp and speakers of the power robbing low end and this sub takes care of the rest, Nice deep sound. If I had to say anything bad, I hear a very small hum out of it, when everything else is off, it's not my cable, and you can't hear it unless it's dead quiet like in a living room. Construction is very solid, well built, pretty happy with it.

I have one and love it. I dj house, techno and hip hop with it and it POUNDS! There's a huge difference between hearing bass and feeling it. In a smaller room you will feel the bass with this (or an NX200s which I think is the same sub with a different name). It's portable and goes deep while still keeping the kick crisp. I got a YX10sp first and thought it would be enough, but I could only hear the bass. Then I got an LS200p and was able to compare them side by side. The LS200p spanks the yx10sp. Don't waste your money on the little yx10sp unless you don't care about bass. For me, bass is the other half of the song. In fact, I don't even dj with out a good sub. Just doesn't interest me. I'm a bass snob I guess. These used to be $800 plus tax and the price has come down. Buy one used or new and you have made a solid investment. This is the ONLY sub I could find that was under 60 pounds, under $700 new (under $300 used) that could still provide a club-like experience for djing. I use my LS200p with a pair or yorkville coliseum C120p's and it's perfect for just me. For playing out for a crowd, I think a pair of coliseum C170p's would be perfect with it. I had a pair of NX25p's and they were way too loud for a single LS200p. Two subs would have been a good match though. Hope that helps your decision.

I have 2 of these amazing active subs. Paired with either E10's for small/mid size halls or the E210's for bigger halls/gym you are set.

Paired with E10P...fantastic lounge rig. I've abandoned several world wide signing off cruise ships.Cost more to fly home than re-buy. I always go back to it.

I bought 2 of these subs I bought one on Feb 15th during your inventory blowout sale. I came home tried it out and I loved it but I wasn't satisfied so I went back on Feb 22nd and bought a second one along with buying the telescopic speaker poles. Now I'm satisfied and I'm loving the big boom that comes out of these

On small bar gigs where we don't patch into the PA, I usually just bring my Bag End 1x15" but the overall sound suffers because the kick is always obliterated by the rest of the instruments. Enter the LS200P. I patch this to my Mackie mixer, plug in the kick, toms and snare mics, as well as my GK-MB200 and Euphonic Audio 1x10" to cover the mids and highs and I have one big sounding rig.....

I really liked the LS200P... I didnt think that e10P was good enough for it... Projection was a problem... I am excited to try out some NX55P this week with them... Should be fun.

Pros: Cheap (cheaper used!), Small, Light, Low power consumption, allows you to input from an amplified signal without affecting the ohm rating on that channel. Cons: Below 50Hz is non-existant (reggae, dubstep), above 100Hz is non-existant. Even the YX18 ranges from 45hz-160hz... the ls200p compares well within its power range in SPL though. TRS 1/4" input only (no XLR), No stereo input... a summed stereo input with stereo output would be a nice feature. No built-in crossover option for output. Notes: This sub NEEDS to be paired with a decent cabinet (nx55p and up) to fill the gap between 110hz and 160Hz. If paired with a YX10/YX12/nx25p etc, they start to sound strained at high volumes when EQ'd flat with a DriveRack.

I was shocked when to heard the amount of boom that comes out of these! I used 2 of them for a prom I did, and I was impressed! The prom was for 400 teens. And you know teens, they like it LOUD!

I have used the LS200P for all my smaller events where the room size is more intimate. Plenty of bass from this model LS200P for a 30 x 30 foot dance floor with ceilings that are around 12 feet high. If you need more bass you'll have to buy a bigger, heavier bass bin. At 50lbs I do not know of a bin this small that sounds this good.

Used it for a medium size indoor school dance with a pair of E10P powered speakers. I was impressed with the excellent bass reproduction and room coverage for only 200 watts of audio power! Would definately buy one in the future.

Performance Warranty Banner

Protect your investment with the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty

A warranty can be a very important factor when making a buying decision. Because repairs can be very expensive in terms of parts and labour costs, manufacturers usually only provide one year limited warranties that generally only cover items that malfunction due to a manufacturer’s defect. With an important purchase such as a musical
instrument or piece of studio gear, however, many people want to have the peace of mind in knowing that their investment will be protected should the product no longer be performing at 100%.

Because of this, Long & McQuade provides our customers with a FREE one-year Performance Warranty on most of our products. The Long & McQuade Performance Warranty supplements the manufacturer’s warranty to ensure that our customers receive complete “no hassle” warranty coverage within their first year.

How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
  • Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.
  • Product Replacement: If your product cannot be fixed or costs too much to fix, we will replace it with the equivalent model for no additional charge. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
  • No Lemon Policy: Your product will be replaced should the same problem occur multiple times.
  • Convenient: Easy drop off and pick up of the product at any Long & McQuade location.
  • Guitar Setup: Guitars purchased at Long & McQuade come with 1 free setup, to be redeemed within 1 year for new guitars and 90 days for used guitars.
  • Loaners Available: A loaner product may be given while the product is being repaired.
  • Power Surge Protection: Your product is covered even if damaged from a power surge.
  • Accessory Coverage: Any peripheral devices or accessories that come with your product (i.e. foot pedal, case) are also covered.
  • Commercial Use Coverage: Music and recording professionals who purchase gear for “heavy-use” commercial purposes will still be covered.

Long & McQuade reserves the right to restrict the purchase of additional years of Performance Warranty. Used products come with a 3-month Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Some products (i.e. computers, software, cymbals and other items) are covered only by the manufacturer‘s warranty. Consumables (i.e. strings, reeds, drum sticks, batteries, tubes, cross faders) are excluded as they are designed to be replaced. Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.

Purchasing additional years of coverage

Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.

If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:

  • NEW products: Starting at 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. Starting at 4% for each additional year.
  • USED products: Starting at 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. Starting at 4% for each additional year.
  • GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
  • BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
