Advanced technology and functional beauty are combined in this stunning 10 hole diatonic harmonica, the all-new Suzuki MANJI Harmonicas. This revolutionary new diatonic harmonica is named after Mr. Manji Suzuki, the company's founder - now in his late 80s, but still very much in charge. He started with a single hand-built model 70 years ago, and has built Suzuki up into one of the world's premier harmonica manufacturers.
Harmonicas are Mr. Suzuki's passion and his life's work. The fact he is putting his own name on the MANJI Harmonica is because those 70 years of dedication to perfection are condensed in this one impressive instrument. He is convinced that it will come to be regarded as one of the best harmonicas of the 21st century.

Bought the Low E Manji, since the Olive doesn't go below Low F, and the Hohners were outa my price range. I love my Special 20s, but found the E and F especially to be a bit too up in the rafters. The Olive moaned nicely right outa the box, but the first Manji had a bad 3rd draw Reed, so i returned it next day. The replacement one is a bit airy on the lower reeds. Overall, it's a great sounding straight harp, but needs to be properly gapped. I've read this is a bit of a problem with the Manjis. I bought a regular E many moons ago, and it still plays well, as do the few odd Bluesmasters I got when I first started going crazy.

These harps are absolutely fantastic. I've always been a Marine Band guy, and I never thought something would come along to change my preference, but after picking up one of these I can tell you I was wrong. There's nothing I DON'T like about them. Loud, comfortable (in the hands and on the lips), perfectly in tune, overblows straight out of the box with no adjustments, and an awesomely unique time thanks to the comb (raspy, bluesy and crisp). Take my advice, if you're looking for a top quality, professional grade harp at a killer price, DON'T HESITATE. Pick up one of these and give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
