Baerenreiter Verlag Trio in E-flat major op. 100 D 929 - Schubert/Feil - Piano/Violin/Cello - Score/Parts
Additional Photos:
Composer: Franz Schubert
Editor: Arnold Feil
Format: Performance Score/Parts, Urtext Edition
Instrumentation: Piano, Violin, Cello
Soon after publication, Franz Schubert's Trio in E flat for piano, violin, and cello was considered by many contemporaries to be the epitome of a chamber music composition with piano. This edition, which includes the Urtext of the New Schubert Edition, contains the original, unabridged version of the final movement and thus provides new possibilities for an interpretation that is true to the work. Appropriate marking makes it possible to perform both the unabridged version and the well-known abridged version of this work, which, in the words of Robert Schumann, swept across the musical life of the time "like a celestial phenomenon".
