Seymour Duncan Mark Holcomb Omega Passive Humbucker Bridge Pickup
Working with guitarist Mark Holcomb, the Omega bridge pickup was created to provide destructive percussion and growl in the mids and low end. It's aggressive but it also has lots of clarity and brightness, which cuts through whether you're playing sophisticated chords, complex single-note lines or intense solos.

I got one of these first in my PRS Mark Holcomb SVN (7 string) and man... I loved those pickups. I bought the 6 string version of the Omega bridge and put it in my Sterling JP60... in drop C that guitar rules for high gain as well as cleans and light crunch sounds! I haven't added a coil split yet, but the only downside I found, is that in the 7 string version that came with the coil split installed with a push/pull pot, the coil split was quite harsh... but if you have the Alpha and the Omega and use the non split middle position... sound awesome for some lighter gain, clean or high gain stuff to cut through the mix. I hope that SD doesn't stop making this model.
